Refund policy

Last updated: May 21, 2026

Overview

At Pierre Hardy, your satisfaction is our priority. This Return and Refund Policy describes how to return items purchased on pierrehardy.com, in accordance with applicable European consumer protection law.

This policy applies to orders delivered within the European Union. Customers outside the European Union should refer to the policy applicable on us.pierrehardy.com.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 14 days from the day you (or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods.

For orders containing several items delivered separately, the 14-day period runs from the day you take physical possession of the last item.

How to initiate a return

To initiate a return, please visit our dedicated returns portal operated by our partner Baback: https://pierrehardy.com/a/return

You will need your order number and the email address used to place the order. The portal will guide you through the return process and issue a prepaid return label.

Alternatively, you may notify us of your decision to withdraw by sending a clear written statement (by email to estore@pierrehardy.com or by post to Galerie de l'Assemblée SARL, 15/17 rue de Valois — Jardin du Palais Royal, 75001 Paris, France). You may use the model withdrawal form available at the end of this policy, but it is not mandatory.

Return and delivery costs

Return shipping is free when using the prepaid label provided through the Baback returns portal. Original delivery costs, where applicable, will also be refunded (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the standard delivery offered).

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unworn, unused, and in their original condition
  • Returned with all original packaging, including the dust bag, branded box, and any accessories
  • Free of any signs of wear, damage, or alteration

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Items not eligible for return

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Personalized or custom-made products (Article L.221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code)
  • Earrings, for hygiene reasons (Article L.221-28 5° of the French Consumer Code)
  • Items marked as final sale, where applicable and clearly indicated at the time of purchase
  • Gift cards

Refunds

We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a delivery method other than the standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw, in accordance with Article L.221-24 of the French Consumer Code.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. No cash refunds will be issued.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. To purchase a different size, color, or model, please initiate a return for the original item and place a new order on pierrehardy.com.

Damaged, defective or non-conforming items

In accordance with Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity covering defects existing at the time of delivery, as well as a legal guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact our Customer Service within 48 hours of receipt at estore@pierrehardy.com. Please include photographs of the issue and your order number. We will arrange for the item to be collected at our expense and provide a full refund or replacement.
